Purbeck
Purbeck in Dorset is often referred to as an island but this is not strictly the case, it is actually a peninsula, as it is a big mass of land that is almost entirely surrounded by water. There are some beautiful views across the channel and down the steep cliffs that lead to the sea. Purbeck has its fair share of tourists so there are plenty of things to do for all the family. Purbeck is steeped in history with more than its fair share of castles and old churches.
